Presentation
Dr. Yassine Ouazene has been an Associate Professor at the University of Technology of Troyes (UTT, France) since 2014. In 2024, he earned the Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR) from the University of Technology of Compiègne, specializing in both computer science and industrial engineering.
Dr. Ouazene obtained his Ph.D. in Optimization and Safety of Systems in 2013 and his Master’s degree in the same field in 2010, both from the University of Technology of Troyes. Prior to that, he graduated with an Industrial Engineering degree from the National Polytechnic School of Algiers (Algeria) in 2009.
His research focuses on combinatorial optimization and operations research, with applications in areas such as production system planning and scheduling, manufacturing system design, energy management in production systems, and optimization algorithms for smart pricing. Dr. Ouazene has authored or coauthored over 100 scientific publications (as indexed by Google Scholar), including 26 articles in prestigious international journals.

Best Paper Award, IEEE-IFAC CODIT Conference, 01-04 July, 2014, Valleta, Malta. Paper " Optimizing dynamic pricing problem under multinomial demand models using a convex nonlinear programming approach” published by Mourad Terzi, Yassine Ouazene, Alice Yalaoui and Farouk Yalaoui.
Booster research 1st prize in "Digital Sciences and Engineering" category (2022). This prize, organized with the support of the Grand Est region, rewards junior researchers from the network of higher education and research institutions of Champagne-Ardenne.
